ROTORYUM series Whell type heat recovery exchangers are installed on a body made of very strong galvanized steel plates. The entire rotor body is coated with electrostatic powder paint against corrosion, giving it a stylish appearance and protected against corrosion. Since the rotational movement of the rotor is provided between two bearings, it works silently and for a long time. Densely designed brush type gaskets are used to prevent mixtures between intake and supply air.
Rotor rotation movement is provided by a reducer. The connection between the reducer and the rotor is made by a V-belt. For the rotor to rotate 6-7 revolutions per minute, suitable diameter pulley and reducer are selected. The pulleys are used with conical bushings, providing easy access and maintenance in case of service and breakdown.
ROTORYUM series Whell type heat recovery exchangers are formed by the combination of two aluminum plates, corrugated and flat. These two plates, which are tightly interlocked with each other, are wrapped on a drum and a wheel of the desired diameter is obtained. Corrugated and flat plates used in ROTORYUM series Whell type heat recovery exchangers are produced from 100 micron thick aluminum foil. According to the capacity requirement, production is made in different sizes with pitch heights of 1.5 to 3.5 mm. Rotor thickness is 200 mm 250 mm and production is made up to a maximum outer diameter of 3000 mm.
Whell type heat recovery units provide heat and humidity transfer up to 85%, providing both a more comfortable air conditioning and energy saving. The Rotor, which makes continuous rotation with its geared motor, ensures that the heat is continuously transferred from the supply fan side to the aspirator fan side in the summer months and from the aspirator fan side to the supply fan side in the winter months. There is a constant tendency for heat to stabilize between the two airflow processes. Due to this physical rule, the cold air constantly absorbs the heat of the hot air. ROTORYUM series whell type heat recovery exchangers can operate with 85% efficiency efficiency when in winter months when outdoor temp. -20°C and indoor temp. 20°C. The whell type heat recovery unit can reach more than 85% audible efficiency. Outdoor weather conditions with the highest performance are climatic conditions as low as -20°C even in this condition ROTORYUM weries Whell type heat recovery exchangers can achieve maximum heat recovery at 40 C° ΔT conditions, without any anti-freezing system.
